Robert Dean Waugh was born March 26, 1972 at Watonga, OK to Roger & Debbie (Compton) Waugh. He died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital at the age of 40 years old. He attended school at Valliant, OK and Wyandotte, OK, but most schools years were spent in the Watonga Schools. He played football & baseball in junior high & high school. He was awarded the Fightingest Eagle in Baseball in 1990. He graduated from Watonga High School in May, 1990. Bobby entered the Navy in September 1990. He served on the USS Fulton, a submarine-tender until it was decommissioned. Bobby married Laura Rhodes on September 7, 1991. Then he transferred to the USS Essex and was stationed in San Diego, CA. He is a plank owner of the USS Essex. The Navy transferred them to Great Lakes in Chicago in 1994. Bob retired from the Navy after nine years of service. Bob & Laura have a son, Justin Robert, who is now age 17. Bob began working at Blockbuster in Chicago and transferred to Oklahoma City in 1999. He was store Manager in Edmond. Bob married Tricia Rajer on May 4,2004. They have a son, Joey, age 5. He was currently a Sales Representative for AT&T. He loved sports and loved playing them. In the last few years, he has enjoyed watching his son, Justin, play football & baseball. Bob was looking forward to watching Joey play soccer this spring. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Craft Waugh. Bobby is survived by his wife, Tricia & son, Joey of the home in Oklahoma City; son, Justin of Watonga; his parents, Roger & Debbie Waugh of Oklahoma City; his sister, Kaylen Waugh of EI Reno; his niece, Kendra Collins of Norman; his maternal grandparents, Monte & Elaine Compton of Watonga; his paternal grandmother, Lillian Waugh of Hugo; and a host of relatives & friends. Bobby was an organ donor. Just as he loved to help people in life, he is helping people in his unexpected death. A memorial service for him was Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Christ Legacy Church in Oklahoma City.
