Glen Wayne Kyle

Glen Wayne Kyle, 51 of Yukon passed away May 12, 2012. He was born January 18, 1961 at Edmond, OK, the son of John H. & Isla “Jean” Kyle. His childhood was spent on an acreage south of Edmond. He attended school at Lone Star Elementary, Eisenhower Middle and Northeast High until 1976 when the family moved to the farm NW of Yukon. He continued his education at Yukon High School where he was active in FFA showing cattle and also played trombone in the Yukon Band. Glen graduated from Yukon High School in the Class of 1979. Glen started his career in the injection molding industry at Continental Carlisle in Oklahoma City. He was also employed by OEM and WDB at Yukon, Kimberly and Phil Good in OKC. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, racing go karts and lawn mowers, riding motorcycles, working on cars, and outdoor activities. He had just completed treatment for and struggled with the effects of Cancer and a broken ankle since January. He still managed to go to his job almost every day. Glen had a big heart, always helping others. Surviving family include Vicki Bookelaar and Danielle of the home; daughters Teresa Bates and Jessica Kyle; sons Dakottah and Cheyenne Kyle; parents John and Jean Kyle; sisters Susan Green and husband John, Karla Rayburn and husband Rick; grandchildren Phillip and Dylan Bates. The family requests that donations be made to Life Share or American Cancer Society. Visitation with family members will be from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, May 17, 2012 in the chapel of Smith & Turner Mortuary. Burial at Frisco Cemetery.
